Creating an Account

To access most features of Chorum, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and choosing a display name. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information.

Account Security

You are responsible for:

• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches
• Logging out of your account at the end of each session on shared devices

Account Limitations

You may only create one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or manipulate the platform is prohibited and may result in account termination.

Acceptable Use

Permitted Uses

Chorum is designed to help you:

Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to use Chorum to:

• Post spam, promotional content, or unsolicited advertisements
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Share false, misleading, or deceptive information
• Upload content containing viruses or malicious code

• Collect or harvest user information for unauthorized purposes

Content and User Responsibilities

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you post on Chorum. However, by posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the platform.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the right to post the content you share
• Your content does not violate any third-party rights
• Your content complies with these Terms and applicable laws
• You have obtained necessary permissions for any content featuring other people

Service Availability

We strive to keep Chorum available 24/7, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The platform may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Network connectivity problems
• Force majeure events beyond our control

We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned maintenance when possible.

Service Disclaimers

CHORUM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of content
• Warranties that the platform will be free from harmful components

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHORUM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING:

Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the app. Upon termination, your access to the platform will end.

Termination by Chorum

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities. We may also terminate accounts for operational reasons.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use Chorum will cease immediately. Provisions regarding liability limitations, indemnification, and governing law will survive termination.

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Chorum will be resolved in the courts located in Washington, DC.

Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and EULA, constitute the entire agreement between you and Chorum regarding your use of the platform.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.

Assignment

You may not assign these Terms or your account to any third party without our written consent. We may assign these Terms to any affiliate or successor entity.
